Data privacy declaration

Vendor and responsible location within the meaning of the Data Privacy Law

IBC Wälzlager GmbH

In der Au 27 35606 Solms

Area of application

With this data privacy declaration users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data that is collected and used by the responsible vendor.

The legal framework for data privacy is provided by the German Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG, Federal Data Protection Law) and the German Telemediengesetz (TMG, Telemedia Law).

Collection of general information

Information is automatically collected by us and the Webspace provider with access to this information. This information, also called Server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn as to your person.

Among other things, the following data items are collected: Name of the Website, file, date, amount of data, Web browser and browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called Referrer-URL (the site from which you accessed our Website) and the IP address.

Without this data it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the Website. The collection of the data is therefore absolutely necessary in this respect. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. This helps us to optimise what we offer on the Website and our technology. In addition, we reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if there is any suspicion that our online offering is being used for an illegal purpose.

Handling of personal data

Definition: Personal data is all information that makes it possible to uniquely identify a person. It therefore involves data that can be traced back to a particular person.

This personal data includes the first name and family name, the telephone number and the e-mail address. Personal information also includes data on hobbies, memberships, and preferences, as well as websites that have been accessed.

This is only collected, used and passed on, if applicable, insofar as the legislator has explicitly permitted this or the user has agreed to the collection, processing, using and disclosure of the data.

Registration on our Website

Personal data is collected if you register on our Website to receive personalised services. These include the name, address and telephone number and e-mail address as contact and communication data.

The registration allows access to services and contents that are only made available to registered users. If necessary, registered users have the option at any time to amend or delete the data collected in the process of registration. On request we will of course inform you what personal data has been collected and stored. In addition, we will correct or delete the data if requested to do so, subject only to the condition that there are no legal requirements for storage of the data involved. Please use the contact data given in this data privacy statement if you have any queries or if you wish the data to be corrected or deleted.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, then we store the details that you have given so as to reply to your enquiry and to be able to ask any follow-up questions if required.

Integration of third party services and content

Our online offering comprises among other things contents, services, and details from other providers. For example, these include maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics, images and photographs from other Websites. It is necessary to transmit the IP address so that this data can be called up and displayed in the browser of the user. The provider (hereinafter ""third party provider") thus learns of the IP address of the relevant user.

Even though we make every effort to only use third party providers who only require the IP address to be able to deliver content, we have no influence at all on whether the IP address might be stored.

Among other things, this process is used for statistical purposes. If we are aware that the IP address is being stored, then we will inform our users.

Cookies

This Website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are sent from the Server and stored on your computer. They contain information on the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. We do not pass this data to third parties or link it with personal data without your explicit approval.

Cookies primarily fulfill two tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our online offering and make it possible to display the Website correctly. They are not used to inject viruses or launch programs.

Users also have the option to call up our online offering without cookies. To do this, it is necessary to change the corresponding settings in your browser. Please see the Help function in your browser how to deactivate cookies. We would however like to point out that a number of the

functions of our Website could be affected as a result and use of the Website will be less convenient. The Websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online display cookies.

Data economy

We store personal data in accordance with the basic principles of data avoidance and data economy for only as long as is necessary or for the length of time specified under law (legal archiving requirements). We block or delete the data if the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or if the mandatory storage period has come to an end.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and protest

You have the right to request at no charge information on the personal data stored with us and/or to demand correction, blocking or deletion of this data. Exceptions: This involves the stipulated data storage to handle business transactions or if the data is subject to a mandatory legal archiving requirement.

In order to be able to take data blocking into consideration at any time, it is necessary to retain the data in a blocking file for control and monitoring purposes. If there is no legal mandatory requirement for archiving then you can also demand the deletion of the data. Otherwise we will block the data for as long as you wish.

Changes to our data privacy declaration

We reserve the right to make changes at any time so as to be able to ensure that our data privacy declaration always complies with the latest relevant legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the data privacy declaration needs to be modified due to new or revised offerings such as new services. The new data privacy declaration shall take effect on your next visit to our online offering.
