Motek 2018

In October 2018 the gates of the Motek fair, the world’s leading event in the fields of production and assembly automation, feed technology and material flow, streamlining through handling technology, and industrial handling, opened again.

As such, Motek is the only trade fair to clearly focus on all aspects of mechanical engineering and automation and on the presentation of entire process chains. IBC Wälzlager GmbH Industrial Bearings and Components took the opportunity this year to inform customers and interested parties about the latest developments and innovations in the area of linear motion technology. 

Besides the presentation of their extensive and proven bearing product range, in the context of this fair, IBC put their focus on the linear technoloy sector. Especially the new Flexy-Runner Guide, compact linear bearings, linear motion systems as well as our INOX Runner met with great interest. With the new Flexy-Runner guide non-linear motions may be achieved, meaning it is possible to run constant radii as well as variable curves.

IBC was able to adapt and intensively expand their proven, comprehensive and wide range of compact linear motion bearings and linear motion systems to the applications of their customers in the Railway Sector. Besides the proven  bearing and linear motion bearing program of our product range, new systems for door openings, steps, battery extracts, electronic cabinets or interior parts  are available for our customers and their own very individual and specific applications. Examples are carriages with a user-specific design that are used in door-opening-systems, or in more than one position lockable telescopic pull-outs for electronic units, that are used for service purposes when pulled-out to different depths. For applications in difficult to access housings partial telescopic pull-outs are available in the IBC product range and meet all safety related requirements IBC linear motion bearings and telescopic slides convince their customers with high economic efficiency, long service life and user-friendly handling.

 

IBC closes this year’s Motek fair successfully and very satisfied and will continue to set their focus strongly on further product and new developments. IBC is delighted to reach new customers and customer groups in this way and therefore to improve its market presence.
