IBC ARTB bearings
ARTB bearings are axial-radial bearings. They consist of an angle ring, an outer ring and a cover disk and have two cage-guided axial roller assemblies and a full complement radial roller assembly. This allows combined loads in the axial and radial directions to be taken up and results in a one-bearing solution that is ready to mount and easy to install.
ARTB bearings from IBC are manufactured in a high-precision class and an extended precision class and achieve accuracies of a few micrometres. Due to the features stated above, ARTB bearings not only exhibit a high load carrying capacity and stiffness but also guarantee precise positioning and concentricity.
This means that they are suitable for use in rotary tables as work piece holders in machining operations. Related applications with a similar setup are indexing tables, horizontal tables, reversible clamping devices and swivel-type milling heads.
