IBC cylindrical roller bearings
In addition to single-row high-precision angular ball bearings, IBC cylindrical roller bearings also find application in machine tools. They combine a high degree of stiffness and load-bearing capacity with high running accuracy, the ability to run at high speeds, and a low cross-section height. They are manufactured in single-row design in the 19.. and 10.. dimensional series and in double-row design in the 30.. and 49.. dimensional series.
IBC cylindrical roller bearings with the designation HN indicate an internal geometry that has been optimised for very high speeds. In addition, ceramic rolling elements (CR) can be used or the number of rolling elements halved (Q852).
Depending on the type, the outer ring (NNU) or the inner ring (N and NN) guides the rolling bearing axially. The rolling element set and the cage remain between the flanges when the plain ring is removed from the rolling bearing. This allows the greatly simplified and separate mounting of the inner and outer rings. All double-row IBC cylindrical roller bearings are equipped with a lubricating groove with three holes (designation W33, arrangement 120°) in the outer ring to ensure effective lubrication.
For special application IBC manufactures special types of its high-precision cylindrical roller bearings.
