IBC high precision angular contact ball bearings for short spindles
DTB high precision bearing series (Driven Tool Bearings) was developed especially for driven tools as used for milling and drilling in modern high-precision machine tools. These forms of machining are often done in a limited space with short cycle times and with the use of high machining forces.
Furthermore, in precision machining a high degree of stiffness and maximum running precision and suitability for high speeds are indispensable for the support bearings so as to achieve highly precise machining results, increasing chip-cutting capacity and system availability with minimum maintenance requirements and costs.
With the DTB (Driven Tool Bearings) precision bearing series IBC makes available to the user precision angular contact ball bearings for use in driven tools which have been optimised for such applications concerning contact angle, inner geometry and running accuracy. In addition to even more precise machining results, the increased productivity of the machine tool is a further advantage for the user.
DTB rolling bearings are manufactured within the 19... and 10... dimensional series with contact angles of 25° (E) or 30° (A). Given their greater stiffness and ability to take axial loadings, they have a high potential to take up combined axial and radial loads. Through these IBC offers an ideal combination of features for driven tools, whereby only the end user can decide on how to use them. The DTB precision angular ball bearing series correspond to precision class P4, the preloadings are matched to typical load cases in applications.
