IBC high precision universal angular contact ball bearings

All IBC high precision angular contact ball bearings are universally ground and can therefore be used individually or combined to form an angular contact ball bearing set in any desired bearing arrangement. The use of universal angular contact ball bearings for mounting as a set is a great advantage, especially concerning inventory and component availability.

Universal angular contact ball bearings are manufactured as individual bearings U and duplex sets DU. Individual bearings are marked with an arrow so that it is easier to see their line of force. The arrow points in the direction in which the axial force is taken up via the outer ring. The arrow also shows the point of the largest diameter of the outer ring. Universal bearing sets have the advantage that the bores and outside diameters have been matched at the factory.

At the factory the IBC universal angular contact ball bearings have already been matched to one another in such a way that they can be installed in any desired arrangement (O, X or tandem arrangement) and in any number.

The customer makes the arrangement according to the small arrow marking. To make mounting easier, sets are also manufactured that have a Vee line (set arrow) across the outer rings, e.g. DB, TBT, QBC and further combinations.
