IBC precision 60° ball screw support bearings, double-row
Ball screws in machine tools drive workpieces and machine parts quickly, efficiently and precisely. The BSD and BSDF rolling bearing series were developed as uncomplicated support bearings for ball screws that are easy to mount. The double-row precision 60° ball screw support bearings provide highly precise (P4), low-friction and stiff support bearings for ball screw spindles with a high load- bearing capacity.
They are impressive due to ease of mounting, economy of operation and low maintenance requirements. The entire machine tool system can be optimised for the user.
Double-row ball screw support bearings are available in standard and heavy versions. The heavy series has a greater reference circle for the same shaft diameter and has high load ratings due to the larger rolling elements. Both series take up loads that are primarily made up of axial forces through the 60° contact angle. The rolling bearing rings are matched in such a way that they have a defined preloading in the mounted condition with precision locknuts. The BSDF version of double-row precision 60° ball screw support bearings make it possible to directly screw the rolling bearing into the connecting structure or in a radial fixing hole without any additional housing parts. In addition, a pull- off groove all the way round allows easy removal from a fixing hole. Another feature is the use of lubrication channels that are closed off with removable threaded pins.
Both series are sealed off on both sides as standard and greased with a high-performance lubricant that lasts for the entire working life of the bearing in the vast majority of application cases.
