IBC High precision angular contact ball bearings for short spindles

The high-precision bearing series DTB (Driven Tool Bearings) has been specially developed for driven tools that perform milling and drilling operations in modern, high-precision machine tools. These operations are often carried out in limited installation space, using short cycle times and absorbing high machining forces.

Furthermore, for precision machining, high rigidity and maximum running accuracy as well as suitability for high speeds are indispensable requirements for the bearing arrangement in order to achieve high precision machining results, increased cutting performance as well as higher system availability with minimum maintenance requirements.

With the precision bearing series DTB (Driven Tool Bearings), IBC provides the user with precision angular contact ball bearings for use in driven tools, which have been optimized for these applications with regard to contact angle, internal geometry and running accuracy. In addition to even more precise machining results, another advantage for the user is the increase in productivity of the machine tool.

DTB rolling bearings are manufactured within dimension series 19... and 10... with contact angles of 25° (E) or 30° (A). With overall improved axial load capacity and rigidity, there is a high potential to support combined radial and axial loads. IBC thus offers the ideal combination of features for driven tools, to suit any application demand defined by the end user. The series of DTB precision angular contact ball bearings correspond to accuracy class P4, the preloads are matched to the typical load cases of the applications.
