IBC High Precision Universal Angular Contact Ball Bearings

All IBC high precision angular contact ball bearings are universally ground and can therefore be used individually or assembled into an angular contact ball bearing set to form any bearing arrangement. Especially for inventory and component availability, the use of universal angular contact ball bearings for assembly of sets is of great advantage.

The universal angular contact ball bearings are manufactured as single bearings U and as duplex sets DU. Single bearings are provided with an arrow marking for better recognition of their line of action of force. The arrow points in the direction in which the axial force is absorbed via the outer ring. In addition, the arrow marking indicates the point of the largest diameter of the outer ring. Universal bearing sets have the advantage that bores and outer diameters are matched at the factory. 

At the factory, IBC Universal Angular Contact Ball Bearings are already matched to each other so that they can be installed in any arrangement (O, X or tandem arrangement) and in any number next to each other.

The arrangement is carried out by the customer in accordance with the small arrow marking. To further facilitate installation, sets are also manufactured with a Vee line (set arrow) across the outer rings, e.g. DB, TBT, QBC and other combinations.
