IBC - Extended Capacity and Advanced Application
- longer service life
- higher speeds
- better running properties
Optimization of the design, materials and production processes has resulted in a significant improvement in the lifetime and working life, functional safety, durability and running properties while at the same time reducing friction and heat. Furthermore, the products arecharacterisedby higher dynamic load ratings.
The product range of IBC Wälzlager includes various innovative solution principles to ensure reliable floating, supporting and locating bearing functions.
One solution iscylindrical roller bearings. IBC manufactures cylindrical roller bearings in various designs, dimensional series and sizes, with single-row cylindrical roller bearings with cage representing the predominant part of the range. The feature of the N and NU designs to accommodate high radial forces and permit axial displacement makes them ideal for use as floating bearings, as used for example in pumps and compressors. The NUP, NJ and HJ series are used as locating bearings.
A wide variety of solutions are required to meet the various technical applications in mechanical engineering. The increasingly precise design of the machine elements is essential for reasons of economic efficiency. Only acomprehensiverange of angular contact ball bearings meets these requirements for high speeds, load capacity, precise running accuracy, stiffness as well as combined radial and axial loads with low heat development and friction.
Single-row 40° angular contact ball bearings allow high axial forces in one direction in addition to radial forces and in most applications they are tensioned against a second set of angular contact ball bearings. In the Universal configuration they have the suffix UA, UB, UL or UO and are intended for installation in sets in an X, O or tandem arrangement but can also be used in any desired arrangement. There are numerous applications, among other things, in gearboxes, geared motors, blowers, fans, pumps, textile and printing machinery with combined radial and axial load where it is important to provide zero-play shaft guidance.
The IBC product range offers comprehensive solutions for easy to install, low-friction support bearings for ball screws.
In addition to single-row 60° ball screw support bearings of the BS series as single bearings or in bearing sets, IBC manufactures double-row 60° ball screw support bearings of the BSD series for installation in housings and the BSDF series in flanged design.
Single-row 60° ball screw support bearings of the BS series allow combined load in a predominantly axial direction on one side. The large contact angle permits high axial loads with extreme axial stiffness. The arrangement is very flexible for universally-ground bearings. They can be used individually or as factory-assembled bearing sets in any desired combination of arrangements. When used as bearing sets they have an overall guidance mark on the outer rings of the entire bearing set.
